The position is hourly with flexibility to include part-time work.
The schedule can be adjusted according to the needs of the employee in addition to the needs of the office.
Office hours are 8:
30 AM -4:
30 PM Monday-Friday.
Insurance background is a plus, but not required.
This position will require insurance licensing in the first 90 days.

To prepare the Agent(s) for success by providing comprehensive customer service by preparing information for the agents to quote, sell, and service clients.

Essential Functions:
Assist customer and potential customer with questions regarding billing, insurance coverages, and member benefits.
Receive, process, and verify insurance and membership transactions including money handling.
Gather information and prepare quotes for all lines of business.
Maintain office operations Identify Cross-sell opportunities and set appointments for the agent(s).
Maintain a Property/Casualty license.
Assist agent(s) with tracking progress towards their key measurements.
Participate in continuing job-related training and education.
EMPLOYMENT
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous insurance and customer service experience or training preferred.
Previous office experience preferred.
Other
Qualifications:
Active property/casualty license required or must be successfully obtained within 90 days of hire.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of reaching overhead and kneeling or squatting low to perform filing duties and to get files from shelves.
Because of the extensive interpersonal contact required by the position, both in person and over the telephone, must have no significant hearing or speech impairment.
Because of the extensive reading required by the position, must have no significant sight impairment.
Must be capable of sitting at a desk or standing at a counter for long periods of time.
Ability to operate computer, telephone, copier and fax machine.
Working Conditions:
Temperature controlled office environment.
Frequent customer contact and interpersonal interactions under varying conditions.
Must be able to handle high volume and stressful working conditions.
