o Plan and implement activities to have a fun and interactive environment o Establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents o Maintain an open line of communication with parents o Must love working with children o Ensure the care of each child by following licensing guidelines and implementing all LILA standards o Maintain a clean and organized space o Administration Paperwork to include but not limited to; ACD Food Program, Schedule, Attendance, Licensing Compliance Requirements,
Qualifications:
o Be at least 21 years of age, o Experience working in a licensed childcare facility in a School-Age classroom o Be flexible with the work schedule o Have one of the following
Qualifications:
(a) Bachelor's degree or higher in a child-related field (b) Montessori credential with 12 semester hours of coursework in a Child- Related Field and 480 hours of experience working with children.
(c) Associate's degree in a child-related field and 480 hours of experience working with children.
(d) Valid Michigan school-age youth development credential with 12 semester hours of coursework in a child-related field and 480 hours of experience working with children.
(e) Valid child development associate credential with 12 semester hours of coursework in a child-related field and 480 hours of experience working with children.
(f) Sixty semester hours with 12 semester hours of coursework in a child-related field and 720 hours of experience working with children.
(g) High school diploma or GED with 6 semester hours of coursework in a child-related field and 2,880 hours of experience working with children.
