Vice President Sales and Marketing Scope:
The Sales Manager is responsible for the direction of the sales staff and customer service.
Acquisition and maintenance of Uckele accounts from a Uckele Brand as well as contract manufacturing is expected.
Essential Duties:
Support the growth of the products and services of Uckele Health and Nutrition focusing on Contract Manufacturing opportunities.
Direct and manage customer service and sales team to deliver excellence in customer service by utilizing best practices, benchmarks and incentive programs Engage in client reviews and forecasting of demand.
Own Contract Manufacturing account representation and direction with regard to order updating, and sales forecasting as part of Sales and Operations Planning system Direct the management of all aspects of customer service Attend Trade Shows and direct sales staff coverage both in the office and at the trade show Take calculated risks based on data-driven analytics.
Engage team to use CRM (Customer Relationship Management software) and direct marketing.
Lead and develop direct reports by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and evaluating performance.
Assist with other projects or duties as assigned.
Requirements &
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field and or a minimum 8 years of experience in a sales leadership role Experience with dietary supplements preferred.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CRM systems Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Proven ability to design, develop and implement both strategic programs and supporting tactics.
Some overnight travel required approximately 25% Project a professional company image with all customers or guests.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and exceptional phone etiquette is required.
Respond to all email and phone messages within one business day.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at the same time with limited supervision; excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong motivation, level disposition, work ethic, leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent work history, attendance, initiative and drive to succeed.
Maintain excellent communication and relationships with others; be a team player; maintain a positive attitude.
